What is Sparks?

Sparks is a set of extended AI features that not only help with editing and enhancing longer text, but that also provide instant ideas for brainstorming and all kinds of creative experimenting, both for editing and continuing writing.

How to use Sparks in my documents

Sparks will appear just like our on-demand Rephrasing button, when you highlight/select some text using your cursor while you have the Realtime report running.

When you click on that button, you will be given several options to use on your writing. You’ll see the Sparks Edit options when you click, and if you scroll on the pop-up, you’ll see all the Sparks Continue options as well.

What do all the Sparks options mean?

There are two main categories of Sparks options for you to pick from: Edit and Continue. Each option within those categories provides a different way to edit and enhance your writing. For more information on what each one does, check out this FAQ.

Can I turn off Sparks suggestions?

Yes, you can turn on and off Sparks suggestions as you like within the settings of your ProWritingAid integration. See here for instructions on turning off Sparks for Windows and here for instructions on turning off Sparks for Mac.
