How to save your answers in Story Canvas

Story Canvas gives you instant feedback on your idea for a story. You can go through the five steps of Story Canvas at your own pace. You do not have to complete everything in one go, and you can come back to questions or change your answers at any time.

To do this, be sure to click the black “Save” button after you have typed each answer. We have highlighted this button in red in the image below.

How to revisit your answers in Story Canvas

As long as you have clicked on the “Save” button, each answer you save will be stored on your browser’s local storage. You can safely close Story Canvas and then reopen it again later to revisit your answers.

If you clear your browser’s local storage, your answers will no longer be stored, and we cannot restore them. If you open Story Canvas on a different computer, browser, or browser mode, you will not be able to see any answers you previously saved.

How to revisit your feedback in Story Canvas

Once you have answered the questions in all steps, click the “Get idea feedback” button. You can then safely close Story Canvas and then reopen it again later to revisit your feedback.
