What counts as 1 Chapter Critique?
You can run Chapter Critique to get instant feedback about the core strength, characterization, plot and pacing, as well as direct text locations of areas for improvement on up to 6,000 words of your chapter or short story.
When you run Chapter Critique, we automatically count this as one use towards your daily limit. This is the case even if you cancel the report or close ProWritingAid before your Chapter Critique feedback has generated.
How to check how many Chapter Critiques you have left
Run Chapter Critique and wait for the feedback to generate. When the report generates, in the top banner you will see a label that shows your Chapter Critique daily limit and how many you have left today. We have highlighted this in red in the example image below.
When you have used up your daily limit, you cannot generate Chapter Critique again until your daily limit resets. You can still access previous Chapter Critique results in your Feedback History.
Chapter Critique daily limit uses reset every day at 00:00 UTC.
