Chapter Critique vs Manuscript Analysis
Manuscript Analysis is currently available to a small percentage of users.
If you don’t see the feature yet, don’t worry—we’re rolling it out to all users in the coming days.
Both our Chapter Critique and Manuscript Analysis offer on-demand feedback for writers.
Chapter Critique is ideal for individual chapters or shorter pieces of text. It provides comprehensive developmental critique feedback on plot, characters, pacing, descriptions, dialogue, and more, on up to 4,000 words, with a recommended minimum word count of 500 for meaningful results.
Manuscript Analysis is designed to run on larger pieces of text, like novels. It can be used on up to 150,000 words with a recommended minimum word count of 4,000 words for best results.
Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced writer, you can use either of these reports to receive instant feedback to improve your craft. Which one you should use depends on your text and the kind of analysis you need.
