How can I downgrade from Premium Pro?

If you want to downgrade from your Premium Pro plan, this depends on what type of billing cycle you chose and when you purchased your subscription.

Premium Pro annual subscriptions

Within 3 days of purchase

If you purchased your Premium Pro annual subscription 3 days or less ago, you can email our support team at hello@prowritingaid.com.

We will refund the cost of your upgrade to Premium Pro. Your account will still remain active with a Premium subscription instead.

After 3 days of purchase

If you purchased your Premium Pro annual subscription more than 3 days ago, you can only downgrade at the end of your annual billing cycle. To do this, you can visit your account, then click the “Cancel Subscription” button in the “Plans” section at any time. We have shown this button with a red arrow pointing towards it in the image below.

This will stop your annual subscription from renewing, but you can still use all the features of your Premium Pro plan up to your billing cycle end date.

If you don’t renew your subscription, you will be downgraded to a Free plan. You can then purchase a Premium plan in your account afterward.

Premium Pro lifetime subscriptions

Within 3 days of purchase

If you purchased your Premium Pro lifetime subscription 3 days or less ago, you can email our support team at hello@prowritingaid.com.

We will refund the cost of your upgrade to Premium Pro. Your account will still remain active with a Premium subscription instead.

After 3 days of purchase

If you purchased your Premium Pro lifetime subscription more than 3 days ago, you cannot downgrade. If you wanted to downgrade due to any technical issues you are experiencing, please contact us, and we will do our best to help you.

Premium Pro monthly subscriptions

Our 3-day Money-Back Guarantee does not apply to monthly subscriptions.

However, you can still downgrade at the end of your monthly billing cycle. To do this, you can visit your account, then click the “Cancel Subscription” button in the “Plans” section at any time. We have shown this button with a red arrow pointing towards it in the image below.

This will stop your monthly subscription from renewing, but you can still use all the features of your Premium Pro plan up to your billing cycle end date.
