How do I get a refund?

We offer you a Money-Back Guarantee. This means you can contact us to request a refund within 3 days of purchase of your ProWritingAid annual or lifetime subscription.

Need help with an issue?

If you want to cancel due to a persistent issue when you are using ProWritingAid, we can help you first. You can contact our support team and we will look into resolving the issue for you. You can also find out more about how report issues, errors, and bugs.

Still want a refund?

If you still want a refund, please visit our Help Center, then click on the pink speech bubble icon in the bottom right-hand side of the window. We have shown an example of this icon in the image below:

A new window will open, titled "Send a message." Under the first field titled "Kind of query," select "Refund request" from the drop-down menu. We have shown an example of this window in the image below:

To continue, you will also need to select the integration you are using, under the second field titled "Integration." Then click the "Next" button.

On the second page of the window, enter your name, then enter the subject of your message as "Refund."

For your email address, please enter the email address associated with the ProWritingAid account subscription you want to cancel.

Then, under "How can we help?", enter your message about your refund request. We may ask why you want a refund, so please explain your reason in your message. We have shown an example of this window in the image below:

Finally, click the "Send a message" button. A member of our team will respond to you soon.

You will not receive an automatic refund if you delete your account or cancel your subscription.

We do not offer refunds on monthly subscription plans, Plagiarism Checks, and Story Credits.

To receive a refund for your ProWritingAid yearly subscription or lifetime plan, you can contact us within 3 days of purchase.
