How do I delete my account?

While we're sad to see you go, you can delete your ProWritingAid account from your account management page at any time. 

Please make sure that any documents you have saved in our Web Editor have been exported back to your computer before you delete your ProWritingAid account. This will ensure you do not lose any work.

Here's how to delete your account:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click on your username in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
3. Click on "Delete my account."
4. Confirm the deletion by clicking on "Delete my account."

Please note that cancelling or deleting your account will not auto-generate a refund. If you're still within our 3-day grace period and would like to request a refund for your yearly or lifetime subscription, please contact our team on hello@prowritingaid.com for assistance!
