What is the difference between Premium and Premium Pro?

The main difference between Premium and Premium Pro is the daily Sparks and Critique Report allowance included in each plan.

If you have a Premium subscription, you will have access to 5 Sparks and 1 Critique Report per day.

If you have a Premium Pro subscription, you will have access to 50 Sparks and 3 Critique Reports per day.

Plan Premium Premium Pro
Sparks allowance 5 per day 50 per day
Critique Report 1 per day 3 per day

What is Sparks?

Sparks is a set of extended AI features that not only help with editing and enhancing longer text, but that also provide instant ideas for brainstorming and all kinds of creative experimenting, both for editing and continuing writing.

What is Critique Report?

Critique Report is an AI powered developmental critique, which gives you feedback on your plot, characters, pacing, descriptions, dialogue, and more. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced writer, you can receive instant feedback to improve your craft.

Before you dive into the line editing features of ProWritingAid, try running the Critique Report to pinpoint the developmental editing points to focus on first. Critique Report isn’t here to replace a human developmental editor, but it is a great place to start your editing process.

Why should I upgrade to Premium Pro?

If you love Sparks and you find yourself running out of your daily allowance each day, you might benefit from upgrading to Premium Pro to increase your daily allowance.

Each time you click on a Sparks feature, or the Try Again button on the Sparks pop-up, you’ll use one of your Sparks credits. Our Premium Pro plan gives you the biggest daily allowance to use to ensure you have enough Sparks for your needs.

If you need to run the Critique Report more than once in a day, the Premium Pro plan would be great for you as it’ll give you three reports per day. With three reports, you could check three chapters (up to 4000 words each). Alternatively, you could start your editing session with Critique Report, make some changes to your chapter, and run the report again to see the how the edits have altered your results.
