How do I change the email address on my account?

To change the email address on your account, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Scroll down to the section titled "Account Details."
  3. At the field labelled "Email", delete your previous email address and type your new email address. We have highlighted this field with a red arrow in the image below.


  4. After you have typed your new email address, click the "Save" button.
  5. Check your email inbox for a confirmation email from ProWritingAid with a link to confirm your new email address. If you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.

If the email address you want to use is already associated with another account, you’ll need to delete that account first. Find out how to delete your account.

If you do not have access to the email address linked to your ProWritingAid account, please contact us.
