Why is my upgrade to Premium or Premium Pro not showing?

If you have recently upgraded your Free plan to Premium or Premium Pro but cannot see the upgraded features and reports in your account, you may be able to try some solutions to resolve your issue.

Log out and log back in to your account

To make sure that your upgrade has been recognized, you may need to log out and log back in to your account.

To do this, visit the ProWritingAid homepage on our website. Hover over your profile name on the top right-hand side of the page, and click on “Log Out.” Doing this will also log out your account from our integrations, such as Desktop Everywhere.

To log in again, click on the “Log In” button on the top right-hand side of the page. You will need to enter the email address associated with your upgraded Premium or Premium Pro account and your password. Alternatively, you can log in with the Google or Facebook profile associated with your upgraded Premium or Premium Pro account.

Make sure you are using a ProWritingAid integration

You will only be able to see that the features available to you have been upgraded when you are using a ProWritingAid integration or app. This includes Desktop Everywhere, our browser extensions, and our Web Editor.

If you use our free grammar checker, paraphrasing tool, or Rephrase directly on the pages on our website, they will not show you have a Premium or Premium Pro plan. This is the case even if you are logged in to your account.

Report an issue with your account

Sometimes it may take up to 48 hours for your upgrade to be recognized in your account. After this time, if the upgrade is still not showing in your account, please contact our support team and report this in as much detail as possible in the first message you send. Please give us the following details about the issue in the first message you send:

  • The ProWritingAid integration you are using
  • Your computer's operating system, including the version
  • Your internet browser, including the version
  • The text, screenshot, or video that shows the error
