What does each underline color mean?

Wherever you use ProWritingAid, whether in the Web Editor or in one of our integrations, you will see the real-time Grammar Checker underlines words in different colors.

What each underlined color means

The underlines are color coded to help you easily spot different types of issues.

• Red underlines are for spelling issues. We have shown an example of this in the image below.

  

• Blue underlines are for grammatical issues. We have shown an example of this in the image below.

  

• Orange underlines are for readability issues. We have shown an example of this in the image below.

  

• Purple underlines are for Style Guide issues. We have shown an example of this in the image below.
