How do I use Story Credits?
You need Story Credits to run Manuscript Analysis, Marketability Analysis, and Virtual Beta Reader.
You can use one credit to run any of these features once on your entire manuscript.
When you first sign up to a ProWritingAid account, we will give you one Story Credit. However, if you have a Free plan, your initial credit will only entitle you to a partial analysis. Think of it as a helpful trial of these features.
If you have a Premium or Premium Pro plan, your initial credit will entitle you to a full analysis. If you ran a partial analysis with a Free plan previously, this will instead unlock the full analysis.

To ensure that you get the most out of Manuscript Analysis, Marketability Analysis, or Virtual Beta Reader, be sure to prepare your manuscript correctly first.
How to use Story Credits
You can run Manuscript Analysis, Marketability Analysis, and Virtual Beta Reader in our Web Editor and in other compatible writing apps through Desktop Everywhere and our browser extensions.
If you use the Web Editor, make sure your entire text is in the same document. If you use Scrivener, make sure that you’re on a full document view before running these features. This step is necessary if your manuscript is divided into chapters or sections to ensure they run on your entire manuscript.

Manuscript Analysis, Marketability Analysis, and Virtual Beta Reader work with documents of up to 300,000 words. We recommend running them on documents of at least 4,000 words to ensure you get a meaningful amount of feedback on your writing.
How to purchase more Story Credits
You can purchase Story Credits as single credits or in bundles of 3 and 10.
You don’t need a Premium or Premium Pro plan to purchase credits. However, if you have a Premium or Premium Pro plan, you will receive a discount depending on your subscription.
