Why am I seeing an API limit on the Word Add-in?

If you are using our Microsoft Office Add-In and see this message, it’s because you have a version of our Word Add-In that we no longer support.

This version appears as a separate ProWritingAid icon on your Word ribbon and is recognizable by the old green ProWritingAid logo.

You can uninstall this version by right-clicking on the green icon. Then press “Remove Add-in.”

Once you’ve done this, you can install the correct version of our Microsoft Word Add-In for Windows by clicking here.

Click Download for Windows, and the installation should start automatically.
