Why won't the Desktop Editor open?

We're sorry this is happening! Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

  1. Open file explorer, and type in %localappdata%/ProwritingAid Desktop here:

  2. Press 'Enter' on your keyboard.
  3. Once the files load, remove the one called 'applicationState.json'
  4. Restart the app.

This should allow the Desktop Editor to open. If not, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at hello@prowritingaid.com who will be happy to help troubleshoot this with you!
