Where can I find video tutorials?
There are many different video tutorials, guides, and workshops you can access with ProWritingAid. This article will help you find the types of videos you want to watch.
How to watch video tutorials in your account
Log in to your ProWritingAid account, then open your dashboard. You can also go to your dashboard at any time on our website. To do this, click on “Open Dashboard” in the top navigation. We have highlighted this in red in the image below.
Your dashboard will open. Scroll down to the end of the page to reach the last section, titled “Getting started with ProWritingAid.” We have shown this section in the image below.
This section contains 1- to 3-minute video tutorials that guide you on how to use the Web Editor, our browser extensions, and our reports. Scroll horizontally to see all of the videos, then click on one to watch it in the same window.
How to watch ProWritingAid videos on YouTube
ProWritingAid also hosts two YouTube channels.
Visit the ProWritingAid channel to watch videos focused on overviews, writing tools, and FAQs. It also features short video tutorials about how to use specific reports.
Visit the Story Lab by ProWritingAid channel to watch videos that reveal the formulas behind successful stories. The channel’s video guides break down techniques you can use to master characterization, dialogue, and narration.
How to watch workshop videos in our Community
If you have a Premium Pro plan, you can watch over 200 hours of expert-led workshop videos in our exclusive on-demand library. To access the library, first you need to sign up to the ProWritingAid Community. It’s easy to join as you can log in with your existing ProWritingAid profile.
Visit the Community homepage and scroll down the left-hand side menu to the section titled “LEARN.” Then click on “Workshop Library.” We have highlighted this in red in the image below.
The “Workshop Library” page will open on the right-hand side. Scroll down to see all the prerecorded video workshops you can watch at any time. You can also filter the videos according to genre and video type.
