Why Did the Word Add-In Disappear after Installing PWA Everywhere?

There have been reports of the Word Add-In disappearing after the installation of ProWritingAid Everywhere for Windows if you have the Microsoft Store version of Office installed. Unfortunately, this is an issue caused by Word itself.

Please follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

1. You can check your Office version by going to 'File' - 'Account'. The Store Version will look like this:

2. If you do have the Microsoft Store version, please switch to the normal version (called Click-to-Run). Which will look like this:

You should then be able to see ProWritingAid in Word once again regardless of whether you have ProWritingAid Everywhere for Windows installed.
