How Do I Stop Desktop App from saying Project Open in Another Programme?

To resolve the issue you are experiencing, please follow the steps below:

1. Open file explorer, and type in %localappdata%/ProwritingAid Desktop here:
2. Press 'Enter' on your keyboard

3. Once the files load, remove the one called applicationState.json

4. Restart the app

Once you have completed these steps, please reopen the Desktop App. You may still see the message that your project is open in another programme. If so, simply click continue and the notification should no longer appear.
